Palæstinensisk opfordring til NGO’erne om at boykotte amerikanske
hjælpeprogrammer

I lyset af den bemærkelsesværdige udholdenhed beboerne Jenin
flygtningelejren
udviste under de israelske terrorangreb, opfordrer palæstinensiske
organisationer, partier, ledende parlamentsmedlemmer og forretningsfolk
nu til
palæstinensisk boykot af amerikanske hjælpeprogrammer for Palæstina,
især de
programmer der formidles gennem USAID.

I en meddelelse udsendt af LAW – the Palestinian Society for the
Protection of
Human Rights and the Environment - hedder det bl.a.: ”Vi, undertegnede,
palæstinensere, palæstinensiske politiske partier og NGO’er, opfordrer
alle
palæstinensiske NGO’er til at afstå fra enhver form for samarbejde med
USAID
og afstå fra at modtage enhver form for støtte, direkte eller
indirekte, hvad
enten det drejer sig om nødhjælp eller ordinære hjælpeprogrammer, i
protest
mod den officielle amerikanske støtte til den israelske regerings
forbrydelser
mod vort folk.”
